Paper Submission

For the paper to be submitted to IEEE Xplore, it is very important that the following instructions are followed carefully. The final submission must satisfy the IEEE publication standard.

For final paper, please revise the paper referring to the comments of reviewers which can be found by logging into the EasyChair system.The abstract/final paper should be prepared according to the following terms:

  • All papers should be written fully in English, including characters in tables and figures.
  • Each paper is strictly limited to 2 to 4 printed A4 pages. 
  • At least one of the authors should register for a full/student conference fee. One registration can be linked up to two papers. Only registered papers will be included in the UCMMT2019 Conference Proceedings, and subsequently submitted to IEEE Xplore.
  • A completed IEEE Copyright Form is required for each final paper. Please complete the IEEE Electronic Copyright Form (eCF) (if appropriate). You should have received an email from the IEEE with links and credentials to access eCF for your paper by early August. Please complete it online as soon as possible.
  • Please prepare your paper using the IEEE two-column Word/LaTeX template.
  • Please note a copyright notice should be added to the front page of final paper. 

Important – Copyright notice: IEEE requires that a copyright notice is added to the front page of each paper. The text of the copyright notice should be:

  • For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright

  • For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is: 978-1-7281-2993-8/19/$31.00 ©2019 Crown

  • For papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is: 978-1-7281-2993-8/19/$31.00 ©2019 European Union

  • For all other papers the copyright notice is: 978-1-7281-2993-8/19/$31.00 ©2019 IEEE

 

 Embed ALL fonts in your PDF file. No Type 3 fonts allowed.

  • Do NOT add page numbers to your paper
  • Do NOT apply security settings to your PDF file
  • Only the PDF file of the final paper is accepted. The final papers MUST be compatible with IEEE Xplore PDF Specification. Please create and check your PDF file(s) through IEEE PDF eXpress (http://www.pdf-express.org/) with the conference ID “47867X”.

You must use IEEE PDF eXpress to ensure your PDF is IEEE Xplore compliant.

  1. Log in to the IEEE PDF express site
  2. Enter the following

    47867X for the conference ID
    Your email address
    A password

  3. Enter other information as prompted by the site

An Online confirmation will be displayed and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup.
 
Abstract submission.

Please prepare your abstract according tho author instructions and upload the abstract to the UCMMT2019 paper submission web site.

  1. Login to the Easychair system

  2. Click 'enter as an author'

  3. Fill in all the fields required

  4. Choose your paper in PDF format to upload it

  5. Click 'Submit' to submit your paper

Final paper and copyright form submission.

After receiving your paper back from the PDF eXpress site, please upload the abstract/final version to the UCMMT2019 paper submission web site.

  1. Login to the Easychair system

  2. On the menu bar, click on the My Submission (and select Submission XX if you have more than one papers), where XX is the number of your paper (do NOT click on “New Submission”)

  3. Upload your final paper and copyright form in relevant sections.
